Manage padding on shipping service rates

Edit a padding rule (for services like UPS, Canada Post, etc.) in the Administration panel by going to Index Shipping > Service Settings.

Edit a Padding Rule

  1. On the Services page, Click the Edit button for the Service you want to change, for example UPS Standard:
  2. Click Assign Padding Rules 
  3. Click Edit button for the Padding rule you want to change.
    1. (Optional) Set Availability Condition to limit this padding's availability (default is --None--).
    2. Padding Type % or $.
    3. Set Padding Amount.
      Enter a negative amount for discount, i.e. For % type, enter -30 for a 30% discount.
    4. Click the blue highlighted Save button on the bottom of the screen to finish.
Remember to test your changes on the site after you are done.
