Creating FedEx OAuth Credentials

FedEx uses OAuth credentials for the shipping API connection. These instructions will allow you to create the Client ID/API key and Client Secret needed to connect your website to FedEx with our shipping integration.
Please do not send your Account Number, Client ID and Client Secret through email unless using a secure email platform. We'll arrange to collect the credentials from you.
  1. Login to https://developer.fedex.com/
  2. Go to My Projects
  3. Click Create API Project
  4. Select I work for a company that: Ships with FedEx and needs to integrate FeEx APIs into their system
  5. Select Ship, Rate & Other APIs
  6. Select Rates and Transit Times API and click Next
  7. Fill out the Configure Project form:
    1. Project name: Website name
    2. Select the countries you ship to
  8. Accept the terms
  9. Click Production Key
  10. Enter a key name
  11. Select your account number or Add your FedEx Account
  12. Click next
Your FedEx account number, Client ID and Client Secret will be needed for Client Services to finish configuring the connection between your website and FedEx. We will arrange to collect these credentials from you securely.
