Product Selector

The methods for using Product Selectors are listed below.

Product Selectors

Adding a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Click + New on the bottom of the page
3. Enter a valid name in Name
4. Enter the description of the category in Description
5. Confirm your entries and click Save on the bottom of the page

Deleting a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to delete
3. Click Delete this item on the corresponding row
4. Confirm your selection and press Yes on the popup dialog

Editing a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to edit
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Edit the data you need to change
5. Confirm your changes and click Save on the bottom of the page

Selector Products

Adding a Product to a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to add products to
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Products
5. Enter the part number of the Product in Search products
6. Click on the autocomplete value for your part number
7. Click the Add + button

Deleting a Product from a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to delete products from
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Products
5. Find the entry for the Product you wish to delete
6. Click Delete this item on the corresponding row
7. Click Yes on the Confirm Action dialog

Exporting Products from a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to export Products from
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Products
5. Click the Export button on the bottom of the page
6. Click the Run Export button on the bottom of the dialog box

Importing Products to a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to import Products to
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Products
5. Click Import on the bottom of the page
6. Click Browse... in the Data Import dialog box
7. Find your csv file and click Open
8. Click Close on the Import Complete dialog box

Selector Custom Fields

Adding a Custom Field to a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to add Custom Fields to
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Custom Fields
5. Enter the name of the Custom Field in Search product custom fields
6. Click on the autocomplete value for your part number
7. Select the appropriate vale from Display As
8. Click the Add + button

Deleting a Custom Field from a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to delete Custom Fields from
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Custom Fields
5. Find the entry for the Custom Field you wish to delete
6. Click Delete this item on the corresponding row
7. Click Yes on the Confirm Action dialog

Ordering Custom Fields on a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to reorder Custom Fields
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Custom Fields
5. Find the entry for the Custom Field you wish to change
6. Click and hold Move and drag the entry to the desired location
7. Repeat steps 5-6 for any other Custom Fields
8. Confirm your ordering and click Save Ordering on the bottom of the page

Selector Product Categories

Adding a Product Category to a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to add a Category
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Product Categories
5. Enter the name of the Product Category in Search Categories
6. Click on the autocomplete value for your Category
7. Click the Add + button

Deleting a Product Category to a Product Selector

1. From the Administration Index, select Product Selector > Listing
2. Find the entry for the Product Selector you wish to delete a Category
3. Click Edit on the corresponding row
4. Click Manage Product Categories
5. Find the entry for the Product Category you wish to delete
6. Click Delete this item on the corresponding row
7. Click Yes on the Confirm Action dialog
