Google Product Feed: setting attributes for Availability date

I. Select the Availability Field in the SEO settings
II. Set-up the Availability Date attribute

I. Select the Availability Field in the SEO settings

Step 1: Go to Admin, Index >> SEO >> Settings
Step 2: select the 'Google Product Feed' & in the 'Availability Date Custom Field' choose 'Availability Date'
If the Availability Date is not available in the dropdown kindly check this article: Add a Product Custom Field then go back to step 1.
Step 3: Click 'Save'

II. Set-up the Availability Date attribute

Step 1. Go to Admin, Index >> Products >> Custom Fields
Step 2: Click edit this item for  'Availability Date
Step 3: Click 'Manage custom field data →'
Step 4: Click '+ New'
Step 5: Add the Part Number (wait for the auto-complete and select it)
Add Value, which is the date (format: yyyy-mm-dd)
And click 'Save'

III. To check if it's already included in the Google Product Feed

1. Go to: Admin, Index >> SEO >> Feeds
2. Select 'Google Product Feed' and Click Generate Selected Feed
3. Click the link, and it will open a new tab.
  1. Cmd+ F or Ctrl+ F
  2. Look for the Part Number (e.g. 1AC100)
  3. It should show the Availability Date attribute (e.g. 2024-04-01)

IV. Bonus: To display Availability Date in the Product Details Page

1. Go to: Admin, Index >> Products >> Details Custom Field Display 
2. Look for 'Availability Date'  and just check whether you want it

  2. Display as Tab

  3. It should show the Availability Date attribute (e.g. 2024-04-01)



IV. Bonus: To display Availability Date in the Product Details Page

1. Go to: Admin, Index >> Products >> Details Custom Field Display 


2. Look for 'Availability Date'  and just check whether you want it
