Delete a Category
Delete a category to remove it from the site. This removes it from the front end of the site and the administration panel. All associated configuration will be deleted.
To delete a category:
- From the Administration Index, select Product Categories > Listing
- Click
next to the category you want to delete
- On the Confirm Action: Delete Category popup
- Delete Subcategories: Enable if you want to delete any subcategories on the category you are deleting
- Click Delete
This can't be undone. If you will use your category again in the future disable it instead.
