Add or Delete Parent Category

Create a category hierarchy to add structure to your site when browsing by category, or when setting up the menu. Each category can have one parent category and multiple child categories.

Add a Parent Category

  1. From the Administration Index, select Product Categories > Listing
  2. Click  on the category you want to edit
  3. Click Parent Categories →
  4. On the Parent Category Page
    1. Search Categories: Enter the category code or category name and select your category from the autocomplete
    2. Click the +

Delete a Parent Category

  1. From the Administration Index, select Product Categories > Listing
  2. Click  on the category you want to edit
  3. Click Parent Categories →
  4. Click 
  5. Click Yes to confirm
